Updates Regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
As members of your local community, we care deeply about the health and well being of our patients, families and staff members. The COVID-19 pandemic presents a unique set of challenges for medical providers like North Atlanta Eye Care. We wanted to let you know that we are taking additional safety precautions to reduce the risk of transmission. We continue to follow CDC Guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID 19 transmission, including strict hand washing and cleaning of high touch surfaces. We are asking patients with symptoms, high risk exposures or travel history to reschedule any current appointments.
Our office will remain open and committed to serving our patients' needs at this time. For those who must stay home to reduce risk of exposure, we offer remote visits through TELEMEDICINE. Please call our office to schedule your remote examination:
404-631-6440. We are able to accommodate both new and established patients through this modality.
We survey ALL patients and visitors when they arrive at our office. You will be asked to reschedule your appointment if you have
- fever, cough, and shortness of breath
- been in contact with someone with COVID-19
- traveled to a high-risk location as defined by the CDC (eg, China, Iran, South Korea, Europe, UK, Ireland), had contact with anyone who has traveled there,
- been on a cruise ship or been exposed to anyone who has been on a cruise ship in the last 3 weeks.
We realize that some of these health precautions may cause a temporary inconvenience, but please be assured your health and the health of our staff and other community members is our priority.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the office: 404-631-6440.
Keep up to date with CDC Guidelines:
Thank you for your cooperation during these challenging times,
Dr. Anisa B Threlkeld and staff
